Stocks closed in positive territory on Tuesday despite lingering economy worries. The 10 year treasury bond yield rose on the day. Yesterday the 10 year dropped to its lowest yield since 2017 causing an inverted yield curve, when the 3 month bond rate is more than the 10 year treasury. An inverted yield curve is also known as a recession indicator.
